The architectural allure of Ram Path is augmented by Surya Stambhs lining both sides of the footpath.

Ayodhya, a city steeped in history and spirituality, is undergoing a remarkable metamorphosis, marking the dawn of a new era. The once narrow single-lane road that meandered through the city has now evolved into a grand four-lane thoroughfare, flanked by broad footpaths adorned with Surya Stambhs (lamp posts). The visual magnificence of Ram Path and Dharam Path draws parallels with iconic locations such as Connaught Place in Delhi or Hazratganj in Lucknow, signifying the city's emergence as a cultural and commercial hub.

Sanjeev Maurya, proprietor of Sri Chanakaya Chai, a tea shop on Dharam Path, exudes enthusiasm, saying, “This Path is our Connaught Place, and in no time, it will be the centre of attraction in Ayodhya.” Having worked near Connaught Place before returning during the pandemic phase of the Covid outbreak, Maurya sees the new development as a transformative force in the lives of Ayodhya's residents.
