At present, National Disaster Rescue Force (NDRF), and the Vadodara fire team's search is underway to find the missing people.

The National Disaster Rescue Force (NDRF) and the Vadodara fire team continued their search operations on May 15, a day after seven members of a family went missing in the river Narmada at Poicha village in Narmada district of Gujarat, police said.

The incident occurred at around 12pm on May 14. Local swimmers have also been pressed into action as the six children and a man are feared to have drowned.

"A search operation is underway to trace the six children, who are in the age group of seven to 15 years, and a 45-year-old man," a Narmada town police station official said, as per news agency PTI.
