In a boost for rail connectivity between Rajasthan and Delhi, a new Vande Bharat Express will be launched, which will connect Bikaner and Delhi Cantt. Bikaner MP and Union Minister of State (MoS) for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal shared the information on his X handle on Wednesday.

The train journey from Rajasthan's Bikaner to the national capital, Delhi, will now take just a few hours, with approval granted for the operation of a new Vande Bharat train on the Delhi–Bikaner route. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw conveyed this information to Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal through an official letter. The minister said,“This service would reduce the journey time between Bikaner – Delhi and also make the travel comfortable.

Hence, it would give a boost to tourism, business – trade activities and the pace of industrialization too. ” "The launch of the new Vande Bharat train between Delhi and Bikaner is a historic gift for the people of the region. It will make daily travel smoother and safer while giving fresh momentum to tourism and industrial development. At the same time, the redevelopment of railway stations in Bikaner is also progressing steadily to ensure the overall development of the region," the minister said.

 

The Law Minister also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the gift of the new service to the people of Bikaner.
