Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 14  inaugurated a slew of projects, including a Rs 6,000 crore petrochemical complex of oil major Bharat Petroleum and vessels of Inland Waterways at Willingdon Islands, in the poll-bound state of Kerala, which he said will help the country grow.

Governor and Chief Minister of Kerala, along with Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas were also present on the occasion.

The Prime Minister believes that these projects will not only energize the growth trajectory of the state but also strengthen the journey towards AatmaNirbhar Bharat. 

The Prime Minister dedicated the Bharat Petroleum's Propylene Derivatives Petrochemical Complex at Kochi Refinery. This project will save foreign exchange, generate employment opportunities and a range of industries would be benefited, he said. He also dedicated the Inland Waterways Authority's Roll-on/Roll-off vessels, at Willingdon Island to the nation.
