In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad on Wednesday night, a 4-year-old girl made a video call to her grandmother to show her mother’s lifeless body hanging in their home in Buddhi Vihar Colony and said, “Papa hung mom. She is not responding.”

The girl pointed the phone towards the heart-breaking scene. Shocked by the call, the grandmother immediately alerted the police and other family members.

According to a Times of India report, the girl's father, Rohit Kumar, a software engineer from Modinagar, Ghaziabad, was taken into custody before dawn on Thursday.

The victim, Ruby Rani, 35, was a primary school teacher in Bikampur Kulwada, Kundarki Block, Moradabad. Originally from Jalalpur, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad, she married Kumar in 2019. They had been living with their daughter in a rented house in Moradabad.
