Mysore Sales International Limited (MSIL), a Karnataka government enterprise, is going aggressive with public tour packages, offering customers the option to pay in EMIs.

Karnataka’s large and medium industries MB Patil on January 8 unveiled a range of travel packages. MSIL has also introduced an EMI scheme, coupled with a lucky draw, to reduce financial barriers for middle and lower-middle-class families who wish to travel abroad.

Customers can pay for fixed-destination packages in instalments and selected winners of the lucky draw will have their remaining EMIs waived, allowing them to travel for free, Patil said.

"Government employees can benefit from a separate scheme that allows a 50 percent upfront payment, with the balance cleared post-travel. Group travel packages will accommodate 100 visitors in each batch," he said.
