The Mokama seat – Bihar’s most closely tracked bahubali showdown – kicked off counting day on a sugary note. Mokama’s rival camps had stocked lakhs of rasgullas for victory feasts, however only one celebration lasted.

Jailed JD(U) strongman Anant Singh’s sweets dissolved into a clear win on Friday, while rival Veena Devi -- wife of Surajbhan Singh -- saw her chances melt away.
