Amravati Election 2024: Constituency details, candidates list, results and more

Amravati Assembly constituency is among the 288 seats up for grabs in the Maharashtra elections 2024. Voting in Amravati will be held on Nov 20 and the result will be declared on Nov 23.

The Amravati Assembly constituency is one of the most fiercely-contested seats in the Maharashtra Assembly elections this time. A general category seat, the Amravati Assembly constituency is a part of the Amravati Lok Sabha constituency along with five other Vidhan Sabha assembly constituencies - Badnera, Teosa, Daryapur (SC), Melghat (ST) and Achalpur.

In the 2019 elections, Sulbha Sanjay Khodke of the Indian National Congress secured a win in Amravati with 82,581 votes, defeating Sunil Panjabrao Deshmukh of BJP by a margin of 18,268 votes.

The constituency will go to polls on November 20 and the results will be declared on November 23.
