Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met the heroes of Operation Sindoor aboard INS Vikrant station in Goa on Friday. He said that during the Operation Sindoor, while the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force led the military offensive, the ‘silent service’ by the Indian Navy has left every Indian impressed. “Even in silence, the Navy has successfully contained the Pakistani forces,” the minister said. On future course of action in event of a terror strike, Singh warned Pakistan that the Indian Navy will lead the offensive.

“Just imagine—if someone can bottle up a country’s military while remaining silent, what would happen when they actually speak? This time, Pakistan didn’t have to face the Indian Navy’s firepower, but the world knows that if Pakistan tries anything nefarious again, the opening move might come from our Navy.”
