Tamil superstar Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan released today (October 10). The movie directed by TJ Gnanavel, also has Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana in important roles.
Now reports are that Vettaiyan's OTT platform has been finalised and Amazon Prime Video has acquired the rights at a substantial amount. Prime Video had also acquired the rights of Pushpa when it released three years ago.
The Rajinikanth starrer has opened to a thunderous response from the audience. The fans have also called the the music and cinematography of the movie 'top notch.'
Vettaiyan produced by Lyca Productions also stars Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
The first half of the movie has got mixed reactions from the audience and some called it gripping and praised the direction and storytelling by T.J. Gnanavel, while others felt it was slow-moving and had too many dialogue-heavy scenes.
Vettaiyan has been received well by reviewers as well with many calling it yet another movie which has all the 'Rajini moments.'
On X, fans have showered the veteran actor with all the love and called it a masterpiece.
Vettaiyan's story is about the clash of principles between two senior cops into bringing justice. Rajinikanth Vs Amitabh Bachchan is a big puller for this movie.
