The embarrassing 10-wicket loss to England in the semifinal of the T20 World Cup on Thursday will invite debates in the Indian cricket fraternity. Not selecting leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal for the Adelaide Oval fixture will be among the chief talking points.

It is no secret the wicket in Adelaide assists spin bowling. Australian great Shane Warne and modern-day star Nathan Lyon have 56 wickets each in 13 and 11 Tests.

Leg-spinners in T20Is at Adelaide 

Among the bowlers with a minimum of three T20I appearances at the venue, Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa is on top of the list with eight wickets — 3/14 and 3/25 against Sri Lanka and 2/22 against Afghanistan in this World Cup.
