Vedanta keeping 'high watch' amid spike in Covid cases

At present, the company is keeping a high watch on developments and the government advisory, and releasing guidelines to the employees on the same basis

Mining giant Vedanta said it is keeping a high watch on developments concerning the rise in COVID cases across India and keeping its employees abreast with relevant information.

“Health and safety of our employees and community around our operations are of utmost importance to us and Vedanta is keeping high preparedness to deal with any evolving situation,” Madhu Srivastava, CHRO of Vedanta told Moneycontrol.

At present, she said the company is keeping a high watch on developments and the government advisory, and releasing guidelines to the employees on the same basis.

“Doctors and medical institutes at Vedanta are issuing an advisory to all our employees and business partners on the do’s and don'ts and the precautionary measures to be undertaken in case of any symptoms,” Srivastava added.
