Prakash Diwan of Altamount Capital Management told CNBC-TV18, "Some of the infra players and capital good companies which have kind of over short themselves in expectation of good times and even some of the real estate players where they could lose some flab very easily. We have seen the likes of HDIL and DLF gain quite rapidly in anticipation of good announcements in the Budget. Even the post Budget session, they have kind of held out more or less which is the area that needs to be corrected."
"The other area or the other pocket that is again kind of looking slightly over price is the banking side. Things haven’t started looking up some greatly for them but Bank Nifty has been holding one quite well. Some of the smaller banks would lose some flab out particularly the PSU pack, the mid size and the small size PSU banks like Dena Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC), Syndicate Bank. There is enough to lose out from there as well," he said.
