Shahina Mukadam, Independent Market Expert told CNBC-TV18, "In Infosys for the longer-term, the valuations are pretty attractive and while the quarter and in fact the next couple of quarters are going to be very challenging given the exchange rate is not in favour of the company, the way the exchange rate has moved as well as the other business segments that are likely to see some bit of a slowdown in growth like BFSI etc."

"I think the investor, if he is holding, needs to hold it for the longer-term. The quarterly numbers may not be anything to talk about. Even in the last quarter, we were disappointed and we will have to see if the company is even able to maintain the guidance that is given especially at which level of the band whether the lower level revenue growth of 6.5, if they maintain the guidance or the upper level of 8.5 but I would hold it, I would keep a target of Rs 1,050 for the longer-term and keep a stoploss of Rs 940," she added.
