Santosh Singh, BFSI Analyst at Espirito Santo Securities India Private Limited told CNBC-TV18, "We have a buy rating on Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC). We thought it is one of the best quality companies in the market and whatever the market is expecting around 20 percent sort of growth that may not come in profitability. The point is that the underlying business is growing at around 20 percent, so we are pretty comfortable with that. The target price is around Rs 880."
At 14:52 hrs Housing Development Finance Corporation was quoting at Rs 841.60, up Rs 4.25, or 0.51 percent.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 931 and 52-week low Rs 632.20 on 30 May, 2013 and 28 August, 2013, respectively.
