Bharti Airtel to remain outperformer: Nitin Raheja

Bharti Airtel will continue its outperformance, says Nitin Raheja, Rada Advisors.

Raheja told CNBC-TV18, "If you look at Bharti one of the reasons for their outperformance is that perceptibly the so called perceived threats from new players was over played out and the tariff wars that ensued at the beginning have all played out. One of the bad news related to the sector has played itself out. A lot of people have now started looking at this sector rather than a growth stock more like a defensive play. Also the fact that there is quality sitting there and there has been this whole flight to quality. I think perceptibly these three factors have really made Bharti the outperformer that it is.
He further added, "I think we would probably sense the market in our own view has more of a downward bias even now in the shorter term probably over the next quarter.
