Vishal B Malkan, CMTMy first pick is Larsen and Toubro (L&T). It is a sell call. It has been forming some bearish candlestick patterns on daily chart. Hourly there are some divergences on momentum chart. I recommend a sell with a stoploss of Rs 1,660 for targets of Rs 1,630 and Rs 1,620.
My second pick is Axis Bank. It is also a sell call. It has formed some bearish candlestick patterns. Daily divergences are there. I recommend a sell with a stoploss of Rs 1,130 for targets of Rs 1,090 and Rs 1,080.

Some midcap banking stocks are looking very strong on the charges. UCO Bank has taken support near 200 day moving average and bounced back sharply. I think we may witness further recovery and stock can test its recent high of Rs 81. One can buy the stock at current levels with a stop loss of Rs 77.
My second pick is United Phosphorous. This stock has made a piercing pattern on the daily chart which is a sign of reversal. So we may see further recovery and the stock can test Rs 130 in next one or two trading sessions. One can buy it with a stop loss of Rs 124.

My first stock of the day is Tata Power. One can buy it with a stop loss below Rs 99.75. Initial target will be in the range of Rs 108-109 and above Rs 111 it may touch Rs 120 in short-term.
My second call is HDFC Bank. It is trading near its all-time high and is still looking strong. So, one can buy it with a stop loss below Rs 615 for target of Rs 655 to Rs 670.
