SP Tulsian, sptulsian.com is positive on sugar space for long term.
Tulsian told CNBC-TV18, “As the government is not increasing or scarping the levy quota of 10% the sugar stocks are seeing the weak or may be the liquidation of the trading positions. But I am keeping my positive stance.”
He further added, “This move of dismantling will come in the next couple of months because if take the effective burden I don’t think that this will be more than Rs 2000-2500 crore to the exchequer, to the central government, but this will give a big boost to the sugar sector. So, may be near term weakness is seen, but the long term or may be if you keep a six months horizon on the sugar sector I have a positive view.”
