In CNBC-TV18's popular show Bull's Eye, Ashish Kapur of Investshoppe shares trading strategy of the day.
Long on DEN Networks with a target of Rs 138 and a stop loss at Rs 125. This is a stock which I retained from yesterday’s picks. The company is said to become the leading TV cable platform in the country. With the digitization of electronic media this company is one of the major gainers. It has a very strong presence in three metros Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai and it is rapidly progressing into various smaller towns and cities. Long on BF Utilities with a target of Rs 438 and a stop loss at Rs 400. This again is a pick which I am carrying from yesterday. In the infrastructure space this company has a good presence mainly in the roads and highway segment as well as the wind energy segment. Given the fact that this company has a very strong presence in Bangalore and moreover the company is part of the Kalyani Group which is a very well respected group and credibility is very high. So we are fairly bullish that within this segment this is one midcap stock which can shine out. Long on Sun TV with a target of Rs 318 and a stop loss at Rs 290. The recent news flow is very positive for Sun TV. They have managed to resolve their difference with the state owned cable operator in Tamil Nadu and that augers well since majority of their viewership is in Tamil Nadu. Also this is another company which is said to gain by the digitization drive in the media industry. Overall the company has improved its performance also. Short Adani Ports with a target of Rs 108 and a stop loss at Rs 118. This is another infrastructure company which has a highly leveraged balance sheet and the strain on the balance sheet along with the fact that there is global weakness in trade and the viability of imported coal vis-à-vis the Indian supply is something which is causing concern regarding the prospects of this company.Discover the latest Business News, Sensex, and Nifty updates.
