Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "Idea Cellular is an excellent chart. It was in consolidation at the top of its rally. It did not come down and that consolidation was a substitute for a correction. It broke out and then it had a very mild correction that stopped at the earlier resistance. It is a perfect bullish chart."
"Idea is not just a day trade and one should be looking to buy today. One should carry it into July," he added.
At 09:30 hrs Idea Cellular was quoting at Rs 143.40, up Rs 0.50, or 0.35 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 145.80 and an intraday low of Rs 142.50.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 150.65 and 52-week low Rs 77.85 on 19 June, 2013 and 09 August, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 4.81 percent below its 52-week high and 84.2 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 47,534.55 crore.
