Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, “Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC)- 2 percent increase is nothing. The news is all discounted many, many times earlier. Thankfully the market is going up, so I would say it is because of the market rather than any kind of news. IDFC unfortunately is now in a correction of some kind. It is a short sell rather than a buy and that is for short-term traders.”

On June 4, IDFC closed at Rs 147.30, up Rs 1.20, or 0.82 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 150.20 and an intraday low of Rs 145.
