Jitendra Sriram, MD & Head of Research of HSBC India told CNBC-TV18, "In IT we like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) because of the traction that it is witnessing overall in terms of growth momentum and so on. That is the name we continue to like and other than that we think some of the midcaps could offer some value but overall it is not like we fancy the old sector as of now."
At 10:30 hrs Tata Consultancy Services was quoting at Rs 1,948.55, up Rs 1.50, or 0.08 percent.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 2,075.85 and 52-week low Rs 1,223.75 on 04 September, 2013 and 18 December, 2012, respectively.
