Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "Mahindra Satyam has been a strong stock. At this point we will assume that these random occurrences come in both the stocks, Mahindra Satyam as well as Tech Mahindra and one should be a buyer in them, not necessarily at the open but wait patiently for decline to stop and then go long in it. Strong stocks do not suddenly turnaround and become weak. Therefore, one should be a buyer here."
At 10:53 hrs Mahindra Satyam was quoting at Rs 118.60, down Rs 1.05, or 0.88%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 121.30 and an intraday low of Rs 118.35.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 131.20 and 52-week low Rs 70.65 on 28 March, 2013 and 17 May, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 9.6% below its 52-week high and 67.87% above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 13,962.67 crore.
