Bengaluru-based B2B fintech software firm Perfios has launched a new GenAI-powered Intelligence Stack aimed at transforming operations in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector.
The company, backed by Warburg Pincus and Kedaara Capital, claims the new AI-first architecture could deliver up to a threefold increase in operational productivity by digitising and automating complex workflows across institutions.
Perfios launched four GenAI-based solutions as part of the stack—Compass, a domain-aware internal chatbot assistant; Data Intelligence Bridge, a document processing and orchestration engine; Prism, an API-first AI gateway; and a Medical Insurance Claim Adjudication solution that supports advanced claims analysis.
Early internal use of these tools has already shown around a 40 percent boost in productivity across Perfios’ own teams, highlighting the practical potential of the new system, the firm said. The Intelligence Stack combines large language models (LLMs), machine learning, and vision-language models (VLMs), and is backed by a team of over 30 data scientists supported by ML engineers and domain experts.
Perfios said it has reimagined financial workflows from the ground up, embedding intelligence at decision points instead of simply layering AI onto existing processes.

Founded in 2008, Perfios currently serves over 1,000 financial institutions in 18 countries. It claims to offer over 75 AI-led products and platforms, delivering over 8.2 billion data points annually to clients to enable faster decision-making.
In April, the firm acquired IHX, a Bengaluru-based healthcare information exchange, to expand its technology stack into the health insurance claims ecosystem. This follows Perfios’ earlier deals to acquire Clari5, a banking fraud detection platform, and CreditNirvana, an AI-powered debt collections and recovery platform, both in 2025.
