Two more towers in the Chintels Paradiso project in Gurgaon where a portion of a sixth-floor apartment in a building in Tower D collapsed all the way to the first floor last year was declared unsafe on February 14 by the structural audit report submitted by IIT-Delhi to the Gurgaon administration.

Vishram Kumar Meena, additional deputy commissioner, Gurugram, told Moneycontrol that the evacuation order for these two towers - E and F - will be issued tomorrow (February 15).

However, Chintels' spokesperson said they haven’t received the audit report so far and once they get a copy, they will study it and might take a second opinion from CBRI.

On February 10 last year, the ceilings of several flats in tower D of the complex collapsed, killing two. Following the incident, besides a police investigation, a probe was ordered into the matter and a team of experts from IIT-Delhi was asked to conduct a structural audit. The report was submitted to the administration in November last year but it was under review by the administration.
