The market currently is being driven by global sentiments and no weakness is seen on the domestic turf, says SP Tulsian of sptulsian.com.

Meanwhile, two PSU banks — Punjab National Bank and Dena Bank — declared their December quarter numbers on Tuesday and it was disappointing. Market expert Anand Tandon says the numbers weren't surprising. PSU banks' earnings will remain under pressure and a bigger question is how will the earnings pan out going ahead and how the government and the RBI plan to deal with the issues plaguing the banking sector.

Kunal Bothra of LKP Securities and Parag Thakkar of HDFC Securities also shared their views on the market and spoke about a lot of stocks.
