In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Ajay Bagga of OPC Asset Solutions, Amisha Vora of Prabhudas Lilladher along with Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics share their outlook on various stock specific bets and the road ahead for the market hereon.
According to Vora, domestic economy will show strong signs of revival in the new calendar year and the market is in good times barring volatility. However, she does express concerns over seeing larger pockets of bumps going ahead hence, traders will now have to be more cautious. Furthermore, she advises investors to stay put in good quality stocks.
On the flipside, Bagga feels investors must now play the market through the mutual fund route. Besides, he prefers IT space as it provides a hedge against falling rupee. In addition, he is upbeat on private banks, autos, FMCG and India-centric businesses. As a contrarian bet, infrastructure would be good investment from a year’s perspective, he adds.
Meanwhile, Sukhani sees 8,100 as a benchmark for the market and advises against buying below those levels. Moreover, he remains bullish on the pharma space barring Dr Reddy’s.
