The emerging markets (EMs) have started to look better as worries over the new US President Donald Trump resides. Geoff Lewis of Manulife Asset Management is optimistic on EMs and said that there is a good long-term entry point for them now.“Some of the biggest worries that EM investors had have not materialised and we are starting to see a beginning of an upgrade cycle in EMs,” he said.Earning prospects are also looking better for EMs now. Some inflows are expected to come in soon for these markets. Lewis said that for developing markets, it is advisable to ignore all the political noise and instead focus on economic data.
