As Europe goes through turbulent economic conditions, Richard Harris, Chief Executive of Quam Asset Management urges investors to look at domestic driven emerging market economies to park their moneys. For him, Asia is a safe play, with more support coming in for emerging economies like China and India.


In such a difficult environment, emerging markets like India have shown some resilience while dealing with global macro factors. This Thursday, Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke and US President Barack Obama take center stage to talk about how they can help revive the faltering US economy.
Harris, however, says people should give up on trying to get a roadmap out of Bernanke whose hands are tied and look at the White House and Congress for deliverance. Below is a verbatim transcript of his interview with CNBC-TV18
