Here are experts equity calls for the day on how the markets are expected to trade:

Mohammed Apabhai, Citigroup: With the ECB poised to release funds again on Feb 28 via long term refinancing operations (LTRO), it is likely that a new wave of liquidity will enter Asia in March which will carry through to April. The mispositioning in markets is likely to result in a significant quarter-end squeeze in March and follow through momentum in April. Stick with banks, property, technology, cyclicals and higher beta over defensives. Nandan Chakraborty, Enam: There are now hopes of further liquidity props from the ECB as well as the US Fed. Overall Q3 results so far have been ahead of our expectations. With re-bidding for 2G now likely, telecom incumbents may benefit and we have accordingly increased the target valuation of Bharti this week.
