Market is exhausted, RBI action eyed: Experts

It was a quiet and range-bound session for the Indian market. Sluggish global cues and nervousness ahead of Tuesday's credit policy kept frontline indices in a narrow range. The Nifty closed flat, just below the 5,050 mark. The Sensex eked out a 13 point gain to close at 16,750. Earnings were a mixed bag. While Reliance Industries and Sterlite disappointed the street with less than expected bottom-line numbers in Q3, L&T's numbers were above expectations and Maruti's profit was in line with estimates. Experts say the market is tiring out now. They are waiting for RBI
