Ashok Mittal, chief executive officer, Emkay Commodities believes that gold has entered a correction phase and expects the yellow metal to test 1,400 or USD 1,450 per ounce in the international market.

Mittal expects to see a good amount of bounce back happening on dollar index and that would add to the downside of all the major commodities. "Buying gold at this moment is not advisable, it is better to go short," he suggested.

He remains bearish on silver. "There is a good amount of a correction which is expected in silver," he added.

Below is the edited transcript of Mittal
