Paisabazaar CEO Naveen Kukreja has decided to step down from the role and will be succeeded by Santosh Agarwal, Policybazaar's Chief Business Officer from March 1, parent company PB Fintech announced on February 27.
Kukreja will continue to be aligned with PB Fintech, and a valued senior leader, the company said. He will continue to be on the Board of Paisabazaar as Non-Executive Director.
“In addition, Santosh will continue to mentor and guide on the Life Insurance side for the short term, as well as work with Sarbvir Singh in seeing how best Paisabazaar can leverage insurance opportunities,” the company release said.
Meanwhile, Vivek Audichya's tenure as the Chief Financial Officer of Paisabazaar will come to an end on February 28. Neeraj Tripathi will succeed him.
Also, Ashutosh Mishra has resigned from the post of Chief Financial Officer of Policybazaar and will be effective March 31, 2025; Audichya will succeed him from April 1.
PB Fintech on January 30 reported a 92 percent growth in net profit at Rs 72 crore in the December quarter of the current financial year, aided by the strong performance of new health and life insurance policies.
This is the fifth consecutive quarter of net profit for the Gurugram-based online insurance marketplace. The company had reported Rs 37 crore net profit during the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
