Reid and Taylor issue size about Rs 1,000 cr: S Kumars

Speaking about the Reid and Taylor IPO, which is awaiting clearance from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), S Kumars' chairman Nitin Kasliwal said it can hit the market by June 2011.

S Kumars' holds 75.5% stake in Reid and Taylor and GIC Singapore holds 24.5%. It had filed draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with market regulator SEBI in December 2010. Sources had told CNBC-TV18 in early May that the IPO is likely to be launched with valuation of nearly USD 1 billion. "The issue is slated to be at about Rs 1,000 crore size," Kasliwal said.
