Rolls-Royce has inaugurated a new 700-seater Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru, described as the company’s largest and most advanced facility worldwide.

“Initiatives like this have helped Bengaluru emerge as one of the top three cities globally for aerospace investment. Rolls-Royce has been contributing to the state’s aerospace industry from the very beginning, and this new GCC marks another milestone,” Large and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil said while inaugurating the centre.

The facility enhances Rolls-Royce’s operations in India, where it employs over 3,000 people, the majority of whom are based in Karnataka. The workforce includes over 2,000 high-skilled engineers working in-house and through partnerships.

The state also hosts global and domestic players, such as Axus, Collins Aerospace, Wipro, Mahindra, Boeing, Airbus, and Pixel, which are active in areas ranging from propulsion and power systems to structural components and advanced technologies.
