Budget Expectations: 'Tax slabs may be re-jigged, but big reforms on pause-mode'

The Finance Minister had indicated towards reverting to pre-crisis tax levels considering the strained position of the government balance sheet. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, chairman of BMR Advisors, Mukesh Butani, says that the market has probably already factored in chances of that, but hopes that the FM will not do so.


Fiscal deficit is another major issue that the FM is going to have to tactfully handle.
