Sonata Software has shown a steady performance in this quarter. The margins have improved but the revenue has slipped by 10 percent.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Prasanna Oke, CFO of Sonata Software spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.
Our business is split-up in two parts; one is domestic where we measure ourselves in margin and other part is international IT services where we look at topline, said Oke.
We did make our investments into our intellectual property (IP) etc, through last year. All these are baked in and so we believe that we are well positioned to be growing on the topline and bottomline, he said.
However, we are seeing pressures as all other IT companies are doing on account of appreciating rupee, he added.
