Shares of Oriental Aromatics surged over 17 percent to Rs 619 per share on November 13 after it reported strong July-September quarter (Q2FY25) results.
So far this year, this smallcap stock has surged over 42 percent, beating benchmark Nifty 50's 9 percent rise. Earlier, Oriental Aromatics had hit fresh 52-week high of Rs 656 per share on November 5, 2024.

Around 0.6 million equity shares of Oriental Aromatics exchanged hands on both BSE and NSE so far on November 13, exceeding one-week average of 0.1 million equity shares.
The company's total income rose by 4 percent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 2,389 crore in Q2FY25 from Rs 2,296 crore in the year-ago period. Its net profit jumped over 6x YoY to Rs 163 crore in Q2FY25 from Rs 25 crore in Q2FY24.
Meanwhile, the company's total expenses reduced to Rs 2,179 crore in Q2FY25 from Rs 2,261 crore in the year-ago period.
Oriental Aromatics manufactures variety of terpene chemicals and other speciality aroma chemicals. The company's vast product range includes synthetic camphor, terpineols, pine oils, resins, astrolide, dihydromyrcenol, and several other chemicals finding applications in vast array of industries ranging from flavours & fragrances, pharmaceuticals, soaps & cosmetics, rubber & tyre, paints & varnishes and many more.
According to September shareholding data, promoter holdings remained unchanged at 74.17 percent, whereas foreign institutional investors (FIIs) decreased their holding to 0.05 percent from 0.1 percent in the previous quarter.
