Titagarh Wagons expects a pickup in wagon demand in coming years. The company currently has an order book of Rs 2,600-2,700 crore of which Indian wagon order stands at a couple of hundred crore.Speaking to CNBC-TV18, VC & MD Umesh Chowdhary said the company has diversified into other fields like passenger and defence, and the growth looks promising. The company has received a second contract for underwater survey vessels from National institute of Ocean Technology, after an order from Indian Navy last month, Chowdhary highlighted.The company posted strong earnings for Q3 with revenue increasing 36 percent year-on-year to Rs 380 crore.
