Power Grid Q1 PAT seen up 27.1% YoY to Rs. 2,848.4 cr: Kotak

Kotak has come out with its first quarter (April-June’ 19) earnings estimates for the Electric Utilities sector. The brokerage house expects Power Grid to report net profit at Rs. 2,848.4 crore up 27.1% year-on-year (down 6.7% quarter-on-quarter).

Net Sales are expected to increase by 13.6 percent Y-o-Y (down 2.6 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 9,471.5 crore, according to Kotak.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to rise by 15.4 percent Y-o-Y (down 0.8 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 8,234.6 crore.
