JSW Energy reported a 16 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 408 crore for the March quarter, up from Rs 351 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue from operations rose to Rs 3,189 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 2,756 crore a year ago. EBITDA for the quarter grew 17 percent to Rs 1,512 crore, supported by renewable capacity additions and contributions from KSK Mahanadi Power Ltd.
For the full year FY25, total revenue rose 6 percent year-on-year to Rs 12,639 crore from Rs 11,941 crore in FY24. EBITDA increased 5 percent to Rs 6,115 crore, driven by renewable energy additions and contributions from the Utkal and KSK thermal plants. Net profit for the year rose 13 percent to Rs 1,951 crore, compared to Rs 1,723 crore in FY24.
The board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2.0 per share, subject to shareholders’ approval.
The company's board approved a proposal to raise up to Rs 10,000 crore in one or more tranches by way of private offerings and/or on preferential allotment basis and/or via qualified institutions placement (QIP) mode.

"As we build on this momentum, we are excited to unveil our new growth plan, Strategy 3.0, targeting 30 GW of generation capacity by 2030 along with 40 GWh of energy storage. This Strategy 3.0 of 30 by 30 reflects our ambition to lead India’s energy security with scale, speed, and sustainability," he said.
Earlier, the company had targeted to have a power generation capacity of 20 GW by 2030.
"Total installed capacity at the end of FY25 stands at 10,875 MW, up 50 percent YoY. The company added 2,758 MW during Q4 FY25. Net generation rose 24 percent YoY in Q4 FY25 to 7.9 billion units (HUs) while FY25 generation increased 16 percent YoY to 32.4 BUs. Renewable energy generation during the quarter increased by 32 percent YoY to 1.7 BUs," the company said in a statement on May 15.
