In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Arvind Thakur, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of NIIT Technologies discussed the Q3 performance of the company.
The industry is going through a transition where the business model is changing and we are embracing the new digital technologies. That requires many changes to be done to the organisation, to the front end, to the culture, he said.
I think midcap organisations are a smaller shape to turn as compared to our larger industry peers and perhaps we have been more successful in that transformation, he added.
Saw 1.7 percent constant currency growth, said Thakur.
The growth has happened on the back of our businesses, which are high margin businesses in the international geography, he further mentioned.
According to him, in a new digital world, customers don’t know what they want so they are looking for partners who can identify opportunities for value-add.
So we have to change the mindset of the entire workforce from doing what they have told to do to identifying opportunities of value-add, Thakur said.
Speaking about margins, he said we have seen our margins expand quarter-on-quarter.
