Gujarat Borosil's operating margin rose to 18.8 percent in the fourth quarter of FY16 from 13.1 percent year-on-year. The company plans to maintain these margins in FY17, says Shreevar Kheruka, Managing Director, Gujarat Borosil.The company reported better numbers owing to the increase in demand for solar glass. This is backed by the government's initiatives for increased production of solar energy.The company also made a profit of Rs 4.6 crore in the fourth quarter as against a loss of Rs 0.1 crore in the same quarter last year.Watch the video for more...
