In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Ashok Gupta, Director-Finance at Jindal Stainless spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.
"In the year FY17 we registered a growth of 20 percent in volumes. In the current year we expect that the growth should be around 15 percent plus. Our revenue also should grow correspondingly," said Gupta.
He further added that capacity utilisation has improved from 60 percent to 90 percent currently.
On debt front, he said the total debt level in Jindal Stainless is about Rs 5,000 crore of which Rs 3,400 crore is long-term debt and balance is working capital.
Talking about Jindal Stainless (Hisar), he said the long-term debt level is Rs 2,500 crore and working capital debt is around Rs 800, so a total of Rs 3,300 crore.
