The revenue of Ester Industries was down 12 percent at Rs 183 crore in the fourth quarter of FY16 from Rs 208 crore on year-on-year (YoY) basis. The company managed to break even in Q4 of FY16, owing to an improvement in the speciality polymers business, said Arvind Singhania, chairman of the company. The film business in the second half of FY16 came down drastically, and will continue to remain distressed, he maintained. Singhania hopes to 'be in the black' (positive) in the coming quarters and expects speciality polymers business to grow in FY17. Watch video for more details
