Prestige Estates aims to reduce debt, maintain revenues

Irfan Razack, chairman and managing director of the company, in an interview with CNBC-TV18's Latha Venkatesh and Sonia Shenoy said, the company is trying to reduce debt and it hopes to maintain this year's revenue in-line with the previous year.

Prestige Estates has reported a net profit of Rs 36.4 crore for the first quarter of 2011. Net sales in the April-June quarter stood at Rs 248 crore. The numbers were below the street estimates, almost 50% down; and it was quite a disastrous performance.
