KRChoksey has come with its June quarterly earning estimates for media sector. Research firm expect Q1FY13 to be another quarter of disappointment in terms of advertising revenue as overall ad spends remains sluggish for the media industry. However, higher subscription revenue to benefit broadcasting companies, mitigating revenue loss by slowdown in ad revenue. With ongoing digitization, DTH companies will see revenue growth driven by higher subscriber base.
