Ishaat Hussain appointed interim Chairman of TCS Board

Tata Sons has appointed Ishaat Hussain as Chairman of Board Of Directors, Tata Consultancy Services has informed BSE. Cyrus Mistry who was ousted as the holding company's Chairman has ceased to hold that host on the board.

Ishaat Hussain shall hold chairman's office until new chairman is appointed.Tata Sons holds nearly 74 percent stake in TCS and the large holding is often seen as a panacea to the debt-laden group's liquidity worries. Tata Chemicals board will be meeting today to decide on Mistry. More to follow...
