Expansion plans are on the cards for DB Corp. The company will be launching editions in the 38 districts of Bihar with an overall circulation of over eight lakh copies.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Girish Agarwaal, Promoter Director of DB Corp spoke about the latest happenings in the company and gave his outlook for the rest of the year.
We are not looking at Bihar alone as a market, said Agarwaal.
"Overall as a group we have decided that we want to do a massive expansion plan of 9 lakh copies in all the markets where we are present and yes, Bihar will contribute the highest number on that," he added.
Printing 52 lakh copies as a group, currently, he said.
We are looking at 9 lakh copies growth and for that we will be doing capex worth Rs 100 crore and will set up new printing locations, he further added.
He expects double-digit growth in revenue going ahead.
Do not think digital will start eating away on print business so soon, he added.
