IndiGrid InvIT Fund has signed a definitive agreement with Techno Electric and Engineering Company for investment in the Patran Transmission Company for Rs 232 crore.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Pratik Agarwal, CEO of IndiGrid and PP Gupta, MD of Techno Electric spoke at length about the same.
Gupta said that we are a strong engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) player in transmission and distribution (T&D) space.
He further said that we see deal with IndiGrid as a win-win for both companies.
We are looking to divest 46 percent currently and will look at full dilution over next two years, he added.
IndiGrid’s Agarwal said that Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs) and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) are globally a trillion-dollar product.
Talking about business, he said we have acquired four assets since listing. Our annual EBITDA is over Rs 600 crore, he said.
